During engineering and construction, the majority of the Hebron workforce will be employed by the GBS (gravity based structure) and Topsides contractors and their subcontractors. It is anticipated that these contractors will require a combination of technical professionals and skilled trades workers to complete their work scopes.
EMC awarded the Topsides front end engineering contract to WorleyParsons Canada Services Ltd. ( www.worleyparsons.com/HebronTopsidesProject/Pages/home.aspx) in August, 2010. EMC awarded the GBS front end engineering contract to Kiewit-Kvaerner Contractors (www.kkc-gbs.com) in November, 2010. Candidates should contact those companies or their project subcontractors directly for any potential employment opportunities.
Note: Other companies that have been awarded contracts for the Hebron project may hire individuals depending on need. A listing of companies that have been awarded contracts by the Operator can be found on the Procurement page of the Hebron website at www.hebronproject.com/procurement.aspx.
