Pool 3 Phase 1 Project

Hebron Pool 3 Phase I is a subsea tie back of the Pool 3 resource located within the Ben Nevis formation offshore NL, Canada. It is located 7.5 km northeast of the Hebron GBS Platform.

Hebron Pool 3 Phase I design basis is currently defined as two oil producer wells with gas lift, one pipe-in-pipe production flowline and an umbilical. Gas lift will be supplied to the two subsea wells through tubes located within the umbilical. The subsea infrastructure will be located in an Excavated Drill Center (EDC) where trees, production manifold, and controls equipment will be located for iceberg protection. Pool 3 Phase I will utilize Hebron topsides production and gas lift facilities with no capacity expansion required. Subsea controls equipment will be installed on the topsides platform which will include a hydraulic power unit, umbilical termination assembly, and instrumentation & controls equipment. The Hebron GBS will include J-tubes for use by Hebron Pool 3 Phase I for pull-in activities.

There will be three separate EPC contracts executed for the subsea scope: (1) construction of the EDC, (2) engineering, procurement, and manufacturing of the subsea equipment, and (3) pipeline and umbilical engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and installation as well as subsea equipment installation. It is anticipated contracts (1) and (2) will be single sourced and contract (3) will be competitively bid to selected specialty contractors. The Topsides FEED and Detailed Design scope is being executed by WorleyParsons.
